Adidas NMD sneakers combine the brand's sporting traditions and technological innovations, which is best demonstrated by the slogan expressing their philosophy: "draw from the past and look to the future". Already at the stage of projects, it was expected that NMD shoes in 2016 will be number 1 on the streets of cities. Adidas designers love to pull archival models of the brand, and so it is in this case. Looking for inspiration, they turned to the dominant running and training silhouettes of the 1980s: Micro Pacer (1984), rising star (1985), or Boston super (1986), from which, for example, shock – resistant EVA foam elements in the middle sole were borrowed. Looking for references to modernity and the influence of constantly developing technology, it is impossible not to mention the very-futuristic appearance, which from the first moment draws attention to itself. To this comes the upper part in the form of adjacent to the foot "socks". As the icing on the cake, we can consider the record-breaking popularity, applied in the sole foam boost™, providing soft cushioning at the highest level. NMD_R2 is the version that appeared on the market in December 2016, exactly one year after the release of NMD_R1! It is difficult to find here drastic changes compared to its predecessor. The designers made only cosmetic changes, such as changing the heel element from rubber to leather, they also reduced the number of EVA foam elements in the sole from 2 to 1 and hid it from the outside. Adidas NMD_R2 Primeknit sneakers are made on the basis of sensational material manufacturing technology, and a characteristic element for this version is a flexible pullover at ankle height, which is a top finish. The adidas Originals NMD_R2 men's shoes are made of Primeknit® textile material, which, at low weight, is characterized by incredible durability and air permeability. Complementing the whole is a textile loop, synthetic straps and an element on the heel made of natural leather. The single-layer design makes the Primeknit® material already mentioned, supported by a textile fastener, the inner lining. The whole thing is mounted on a sole that combines boost™ and EVA cushioning foams in the middle part, finished in the outer part with adhesive rubber.
